ClearFocus performs a Security Control Assessment of the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) Program System (GPS) for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

ClearFocus Technologies recently conducted a Security Control Assessment of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) Program System (GPS). GOES is a joint project between NASA and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and is a satellite system that provides continuous imagery and atmospheric measurements of Earth’s Western Hemisphere as well as provides space weather monitoring.

GOES is a satellite that remains in the same position with respect to Earth as it rotates and orbits the Sun. This satellite acts as a constant observer that is used for analyzing and predicting severe weather conditions based on atmospheric triggers. These early indicators of severe weather can affect public safety, protection of property, and ultimately, economic health and development.

ClearFocus is proud to ensure the compliance and security of such a critical satellite.
