ClearFocus Technologies hosted the first Leesburg HUBZone Consortium meeting on November 10, 2022. The consortium is composed of Leesburg HUBZone businesses that will work together to improve the HUBZone program by providing input to the National HUBZone Council and the Small Business Administration. Additionally, the team will share best practices for maintaining the HUBZone certification and educate new or potential HUBZone companies on how to get the most out of the program. Special thanks to Bob and Lisa Cusack of Custom Software Systems for establishing the consortium. Also, special thanks to Melanie Scoggins, Business Development and Retention Manager from the Town of Leesburg, for attending our first meeting.
