ClearFocus wins Security Control Assessment contract for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Jet Propulsion Laboratory. This exciting contract places ClearFocus as the Independent Assessment team supporting NASA JPL with conducting Security Control Assessments of their mission systems. This team verifies that the Security and Privacy Controls that protect each mission system have been implemented in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53 Revision 5 requirements. The Independent Assessment team is responsible for conducting interviews with key stakeholders, examining security artifacts, and capturing the outcome of that process within a report that provides an unbiased attestation to the Authorizing Official to allow for them to know precisely the level of risk that they are accepting for each information system within their purview.
