The ClearFocus executive team attended the 31st Annual RSA Conference earlier this month at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. This annual, world-leading, information technology conference plays a crucial role in bringing the international public and private sectors of cybersecurity together to convene and discuss the field’s forecast. This year the conference focused on issues surrounding privacy and surveillance; the positive and negative impacts of machine learning and artificial intelligence; the nuances of risk and policy; and cybersecurity-focused innovations across crypto and blockchain.
There will also be a rapid demand increase for a Zero Trust approach based on Executive Order 14028, Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity, a service that ClearFocus is prepared to provide. Additionally, the conference explained that quantum computing will present challenges for cybersecurity. However, NIST is already working on a Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standard which is currently open for public input. Lastly, the conference posed that there is a need for cloud-native cybersecurity solutions.
